Dorothy D. Perfors

Dorothy D. Perfors, 74, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born on April 9, 1940, in Aledo, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Isabelle (Kernan) Bredburg.

She worked as a truck driver for W.L. Roenigk and also worked at Eat'n Park and Walmart.

In 1992, she returned to school and graduated from Butler County Community College with an associate degree in administration.

She was a member of the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church and the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed bowling, playing softball, watching NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers, traveling and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her loving children, Albert (Tina) Perfors Jr. of Saxonburg, Tammy (Tony) Hicks of Princeton, W.Va., Melody (Erich) Kaltenhauser of Butler, Shari (Charles) Becker of New Kensington, She'ri (Tom) Smith of Brackenridge and Star (Gary) McNally of Lower Burrell; her 18 grandchildren; and her 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Charles Perfors, who passed away in 2010; her stepfather, Neal Dow; and her daughter, Michelle Perfors.

Perfors— A memorial service for Dorothy D. Perfors, who passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014, will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Carmen Shullo officiating.Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Society, 333 E.
