The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has moved the previously scheduled road closure for Freedom Road (State Route 3020) to next weekend, 10 p.m. Friday, July 23, through 6 a.m. Monday, July 26, because of anticipated weekend inclement weather.

PennDOT has designated several detours.

Northbound Route 19 traffic should continue north on State Route 19 (Perry Highway), turn left on Cranberry Square Drive and left on Executive Drive.

Route 228 and westbound Freedom Road traffic should take Route 19 north on Perry Highway, turn left on Cranberry Square Drive and left on Executive Drive.

Southbound Route 19 traffic should follow Route 19 south, turn right on Thorn Hill Road, turn right on Commonwealth Drive and then back to Freedom Road.

Eastbound Freedom Road traffic should head right on Commonwealth Drive and left on Thorn Hill Road to Route 19 north Perry Highway.
