James Milligan Sr.
James Clifford Milligan Sr., 83, of Worthington, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 16, 1938, at home in Worthington, and was the son of the late Earl and Annabelle (Kennedy) Milligan.
James was a lifelong resident of the area, and worked for Pullman Standard, Franklin Glass, and owned the Milligan Lounge.
He enjoyed farming and going to the casinos.
He is survived by his son, James (Tina) Milligan Jr. of Worthington; his granddaughters, Tanni Milligan of Butler, Kendra Milligan of Slippery Rock and Jennifer (Joshua) Herold of Sarver; his grandsons, Chris Carlson of Sarver, David Carlson of South Carolina, Jacob Shalbot of Prospect and Joshua Milligan of Worthington; his great-grandsons, Xander Wong of Worthington and William and Wyatt Herold of Sarver; his great-granddaughter, Malaiya Nelson of Butler; his companion, Phyllis Westerman of Connoquenessing; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Frank Milligan; his daughter, Jonnie Milligan; his parents; his brothers; and a sister.
MILLIGAN — Friends of James Clifford Milligan Sr., who died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at F. Duane Snyder Funeral, 119 Bear St., Worthington.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Dave Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery on Cherry Street.
