Frank A. Puz
Frank A. Puz, 84, of Butler died Tuesday evening at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born March 15, 1928, in West Winfield, he was a son of the late Matthew and Cila (Stanich) Puz.
Frank attended Winfield Township High School and had retired as the Cadillac manager for Kelly Chevrolet-Cadillac in 1998, after 30 years.
He was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler, the Butler Lions Club, the Butler Elks and the Cadillac Crest Club. He was an avid runner until his early 60s, and he enjoyed golfing and playing handball.
Surviving are his wife, Donna M. (Pucci) Puz, who he married Feb. 20, 1960; two sons, Rodger L. (Sharon) Puz of Pittsburgh and Matthew F. (Rebecca) Puz of Chicago, Ill.; five granddaughters, Ryan, Allison, Sarah, Aimee and Sydney; and one sister, Mildred Davies of Cabot.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Andrew, Matthew and William; and one sister, Cynthia.
PUZ — Friends of Frank A. Puz, who died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Parish Cemetery.St. Paul's Catholic Women and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:35 a.m. Saturday at the church to recite the rosary.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
