Steven William Hart, 38, of Brady Township, formerly of Hopewell Township, passed away unexpectedly Monday at his home.

He was born on Nov. 30, 1974, in Pittsburgh to William Lewis Hart and Gloria M. Lapierre Hart.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Persian Gulf War as a chemical operation specialist in Korea.

Steven is survived by his father, William Hart of Meadville; his sister, Dr. Barbra Karner and her husband, Timothy, of Butler; his niece, Karolina, and his three nephews, Josh, Peyton and Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his mother, who died on July 7, 2008.

HART — The memorial services for Steven William Hart, who passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., Butler, with the Rev. Stephen M. Franklin officiating.The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WILLIAM F.YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, West Sunbury.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Meridian United Presbyterian Church or to the American Red Cross.
