Ruth C. Kernan, 89, of Middlesex Township, formerly of Wexford, passed away Tuesday.

She was the wife of the late James Kernan; mother of the late Wayne Kernan; mother-in-law of Elizabeth Kernan; grandmother of Michael Kernan and Deborah (Ted) Rasbach; great-grandmother of Trevor and Hannah Rasbach and Michael and Matthew Kernan, and sister of Violet Craig, Rose Marie Vukson, Jean Frederick, Carol Vukson, and the late LaVerne Kernan and Lois Volsinger. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Kernan— The friends of Ruth C. Kernan, who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Highway, Ross Township.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Alexis Church.
