Threat at KC school not credible
Reports of threats against Karns City High School were investigated by authorities and found to be not credible.
Superintendent Eric Ritzert distributed a phone message to parents Thursday about the threat and how it was being handled.
Several reports from Pennsylvania's online anonymous reporting platform Safe2Say Something instigated the investigation, he said.
The threats were turned over to Pennsylvania State Police, who also provided extra security at the school Friday. Otherwise, classes proceeded as normal.
