The commencement ceremony for First Baptist Christian School, 221 E. New Castle St., will be at 7 p.m. June 4.

Maria started her school career at Penn Christian Academy and attended Evangel Heights Christian Academy for three years, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and being part of the cast and crew for various stage productions.She continued her education starting in 10th grade at First Baptist Christian School, where she played basketball, was captain of the varsity volleyball team her senior year and was part of the homecoming court in 2020.
