CRANBERRY TWP — Capturing the buzz of a current Reese’s Peanut Butter commercial spot, Allegent Federal Credit Union on Haine School Road is selling Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups at a financial institution.

The Hershey Company’s commercial spot teased the FCU into accepting a challenge. Allegent is partnering with Reese’s in fulfilling the commercial’s statement that Reese’s are “sold literally everywhere business is done. I’m pretty sure you could buy them at a bank.”

“We love to partner with other successful and grounded companies,” said Mark Bruno, vice president of Allegent. “We viewed the commercial and said, lets act on it, we’re all about the buzz.”

Proceeds from the sales will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
