Eugene Chambers

Eugene C. “Pete” Chambers, 85, of Karns City, passed away Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 29, 1936, in Butler, and was the son of the late Calvin and Jennie (Cubbison) Chambers.

Pete had retired after 25 years of service from Swank Construction.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Margaret (Logan) Chambers of Karns City; two daughters, Karen (Jim Shakley) MulQueen of Mercer and Kathy (Tom) Bell of Foxburg; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Roberta Hagaer of Evans City, and Barb Harter of Evans City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece.

CHAMBERS — Friends of Eugene C. “Pete” Chambers, who died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
