Donald David Hofmeister, 77, of Butler, passed away Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at VA Butler Healthcare.

He was born Nov. 23, 1947, in Butler, the son of the late Jesse D. Hofmeister and Helen (Schubert) Hofmeister.

He had worked at Circle R. Safety, Pullman Standard and Trinity Industries. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served in Vietnam.

Surviving are his loving wife, Joyce A. (Ramelli) Hofmeister; a brother, Jessie “Duke” (Nora) Hofmeister; and stepson, Adam M. McCandless, and his three children, Jessica, Murray, and Michael Hofmeister.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

HOFMEISTER — Services and burial for Donald David Hofmeister, who died Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, will be private.
