CRANBERRY TWP — Former students and families of students from the six one-room school houses in the area will have a reunion picnic at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Plains United Presbyterian Church, 326 Plains Church Rd.

Between 75 and 135 people attend the reunion each year. Many are former students of the Bear Run, Johnston, Sample, Hoehn, Graham and Garvin schoolhouses that closed in the 1950s.

People coming to the picnic should take a covered dish and their own silverware and table service. Dinner will be at 4 p.m.
