Construction has slowed at the $40 million new prison being built by Butler County in downtown Butler. A.G. Cullen, the project’s general contractor, walked off the job on Dec. 20, the latest in a series of setbacks for the project. The original deadline for completion of the prison was Oct. 13. It is now May 2008.
