Jennings schedules February programs

BRADY TWP — The Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, has the following programs slated:

- Feb. 23-25 and Feb. 28, “Family Science Outside: Maple Sugaring.” This experience includes: Virtual introduction from Jennings staff, including guidance on using exploration tools.

Registration is required by visiting events.dcnr.pa.gov or by calling 724-794-6011.

- 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Feb. 20, “Scouts Special: A Virtual Exploration of Making Real Maple Syrup.” Scouts of all ages can earn a special patch while virtually exploring how real maple syrup is made. To register, call 724-794-6011 or register at events.dcnr.pa.gov.

- 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 27, “Scouts Special Science Outside: Maple Sugaring,” brings scouts and their families into the living lab of the great outdoors to explore the science and math behind making maple syrup. To register, call 724-794-6011 or register at events.dcnr.pa.gov.
