WIND STORM STRIKES
Mike Powers waits outside his home on Rockenstein Avenue in the south hills section of Butler Sept. 15 for crews to clean up the tree that fell on his home the previous night during a wind storm. The storm knocked out electricity for thousands of residents — some for about a week — after the remnants of Hurricane Ike swept through the region.
