PRICE IS RIGHT
Gas these days is going for around $3.19 a gallon, but in January of 1964 Clint's Esso was selling regular for 30 cents a gallon. But, if you wanted premium, you were going to pay more ... 34 cents. The station at 223 E. Jefferson St., was owned by Clint Greenawalt. The sign on the wall at left identifies the manager as Joseph M. Lapinski. The station location is now the site of the Cliffside Apartments.
