PRAGUE, Czech Republic - Former Pittsburgh Penguins Jaromir Jagr, now with the New York Rangers, and Robert Lang of the Detroit Red Wings will lead the Czech Republic at this year's World Cup of Hockey.

Former Penguins oach Ivan Hlinka, who led the Czechs to victory at the 1998 Nagano Olympics and took charge of the team again after this month's world championships, Tuesday announced a 26-man roster loaded with NHL players.

The tournament will be held from Aug. 30 to Sept. 14 at several sites in North America and Europe.

PARIS - In her first Grand Slam singles match in 10 years, Martina Navratilova lost to Gisela Dulko 6-1, 6-3 at the French Open Tuesday.The 47-year-old Navratilova was one of 12 past major champions in action around Roland Garros - and the only one who lost.
