Slippery Rock University shortstop Stacey Rhoades was named PSAC West Women's Softball Rookie of the Year.The freshman batted .349 while playing in all 43 Rock games. She set single-season school records with 35 runs scored, eight home runs, 27 RBI and 76 total bases.Teammate Andrea Murdoch, another freshman, made the All-PSAC West first team as a left fielder. She hit .383 and set a school record with 47 hits this spring.SRU won a school-record 24 games this season, breaking the mark that had stood for 25 years.
