Aubrey and Palmer lost to Artie Fink Jr. and Chip Zimmerman, 6 and 4, in an afternoon four-ball match as part of the Tri-State PGA vs. Western Pennsylvania Golf Association challenge.
The Tri-State PGA defeated the WPGA, 12-5. Aubrey halved David Brown in morning singles play.
LAS VEGAS - Boxer Leavander Johnson, critically injured in the biggest fight of his life, died Thursday at a hospital where he was rushed with bleeding on the brain.The 35-year-old's kidneys had failed and his heart was not pumping on its own when family members decided to remove him from life support, his doctor said.Johnson collapsed on his way to the dressing room after taking a beating in his IBF lightweight title defense Saturday night against Jesus Chavez. Doctors were operating on him within 40 minutes to relieve pressure on his brain, but he never came out of a medically induced coma.Doctors performed a second operation Monday to remove a blood clot but Johnson was too gravely injured to survive.

NEW YORK - Rafael Palmeiro said Thursday a vitamin he received from Miguel Tejada might have caused the positive test for steroid use that led to the first baseman's suspension, an assertion his Baltimore Orioles teammate dismissed as implausible.Palmeiro said he received vitamin B-12 from Tejada, a person familiar with Palmeiro's unsuccessful grievance hearing to overturn the suspension said.Palmeiro has not publicly discussed details of his testimony, which came during an unsuccessful grievance filed by the players' association to overturn his 10-day suspension, which followed a positive test for stanozolol.
