Butler junior high wrestlers Cole Baxter (122 pounds), Dakota Collins (130 pounds) and Alex Miranda (156 pounds) each placed first at the Dr. Kurt Nellis Memorial Wrestling Tournament at Shaler HighSchool Saturday.

Eric Tuck (95 pounds) placed second at the tournament for Butler.

Butler's next junior high match will be at home Wednesday against Knoch.

Kevin Scott scored 28 points to lead the Butler County Community College men's basketball team to a 90-84 win over Jefferson County Community College (Ohio) Saturday night.Butler graduate Blake Anderson added 22 points and Knoch graduate Ryan Ziacik pitched in 20 for the Pioneers (5-4), who won't be in action again until Jan. 4, when they host Mercyhurst-North East.

NEW YORK —Ten players, including NBA leading scorer Carmelo Anthony, were ejected for fighting during a wild brawl near the end of Saturday night's game between the Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks.All 10 players on the court at the time of the fight were tossed for their involvement in the ugly incident that spread across the court and spilled into the crowd at Madison Square Garden.Punches were thrown and players flew into the crowd in the NBA's ugliest scene since Indiana Pacers players fought with Detroit fans on the court and in the stands in 2004.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia 76ers team president Billy King said he would not rush to deal Allen Iverson, the disgruntled former MVP who has drawn heavy trade interest from around the league.Iverson was sent home by the Sixers and has been inactive for six straight games after he asked to be traded nearly two weeks ago. King would not say when he expected a trade for Iverson would be completed.

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Brett Favre passed Dan Marino to become the league leader in completions with a 21-yard pass to wide receiver Carlyle Holiday in Sunday's Packers game against Detroit.Favre found Holiday over the middle with 1:42 left in the second quarter for the 4,968th completion of his 16-year career. Favre needed 14 completions coming into the game to top the list.Favre has also started a quarterbacks-record 255 consecutive games.
