Despite 14 points apiece from Brittany Beatty and Natalie Wallace, the Butler County Community College women's basketball team lost a 76-53 decision to host Potomac State in the WPCCChampionship game Monday.

The Pioneers (16-5) trailed 55-51 with about 6:30 remaining before Potomac State (22-2, ranked No. 5 in NJCAADivision II) pulled away.

BC3 will play at Franciscan University later this week before hosting Penn State-New Kensington next Tuesday. It will move on to compete in the NJCAARegion 20 playoffs next weekend.

PHILADELPHIA — Eagles coach Andy Reid will leave the team for a month to deal with family issues, a decision that comes less than two weeks after two sons got into separate legal trouble on the same day.The team said Monday the leave of absence will last through mid-March.Reid is also the team's head of football operations. If he does not rejoin the Eagles until the middle of next month, he will miss the NFL scouting combine and the start of free agency. NFL teams may begin voluntary offseason workouts March 19. Reid will be back for the NFL draft April 28-29.
