LISLE, Ill. — Two Butler Stealth athletes won medals at the USA Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which were held over the weekend at Benedictine University.

Skye Sankey placed fifth in the girls 17- and 18-year-old group with an effort of 10 feet, 4 inches in the pole vault.

Her brother, Lake, placed eighth in the Turbo Javelin Throw in the boys 9- and 10-year old group with a toss of 83 feet.

The two are the children of Ron and Ronnie Sankey of Butler.
