PITTSBURGH — Mike Lange, who has been with the Penguins for 32 years, has signed another one-year contract and will return as the team's radio play-by-play announcer.

Also, Phil Bourque, a former Penguins and New York Rangers player, agreed to a two-year contract as the Penguins' radio analyst. This will be his fourth season as a Penguins announcer.

Lange was removed as the Penguins' TV play-by-play announcer a year ago by Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh, but agreed to stay with the team for at least one more season in the radio booth. He expressed interest in exploring TV play-by-play opportunities in other NHL cities last spring, but none developed.

STATE COLLEGE — Marissa DeCola, 13, of Center Township fired an 82 to win the P.J. Boatwright Junior Challenge Cup state final at the Penn State University golf course Thursday.With the win in the 14th annual event, DeCola captured the championship sponsored by the Keystone PGA.

BELLEFONTE — The East Butler American Legion baseball team will open the Region 7 championship tournament at 4:35 p.m. Saturday against Mifflin in Bellefonte.
