HOUSTON, Pa. — The Meadows Race Track will offer daylight racing when the Washington County harness track reopens on Oct. 17.

The track has been closed for two months while crews demolished the grandstand and began work on a $155 million casino and hotel, which will also include new grandstand facilities.

Races will now start at 12:15 p.m. instead of 6 p.m. The track is closed Fridays and Sundays.
