New reporter joins Butler Eagle staff
Shannon Farr is a new reporter for the Butler Eagle who will work in its bureau in Cranberry Township.
She will cover news in the southwestern section of Butler County. Her stories also will appear in the Cranberry Eagle and the News Weekly, two weekly newspapers published by the Butler Eagle.
Farr, 26, is completing a master's degree in journalism and mass communication at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. She has a bachelor's degree in communication media from Indiana (Pa.) University.
She has done work for the Tribune-Review in Greensburg and the Daily Courier in Connellsville, Fayette County.
Farr lives in Monroeville, but plans to move to Butler County.
She replaces Adam Fabian, who is now with the Beaver County Times.
