MARSHALL TWP, Allegheny County — LMEricsson plans to sell its former FORE Systems-campus, hoping for a sale-lease back agreement.
Ericsson bought Marconi Corp., in 2005 along with the 575,000-square-foot campus that includes three buildings: Building 1000, which houses the Sweden-based communications company; Building 2000, partially leased to H.J. Heinz; and Building 3000, partially leased to Accredo Health Group.
Located in Thorn Hill Industrial Park, the Ericsson campus has five completed buildings and a partially complete sixth building and is assessed for about $22.6 million.
EAST FRANKLIN TWP, Armstrong County — The children of Elmer and Annabelle Snyder have donated $500,000 to the ACMHHospital from their estate to develop the Snyder Institute for Vascular Health and Research.The couple had blood circulation problems during their lives and their children, David, Mark and Tom Snyder, made the donation for the noninvasive diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease, wound care and research.
