Knoch running back Tim McNerney was named to the Associated Press Pennsylvania Class AAA high school football first-team squad while Slippery Rock wide receiver Zack Ejzak was chosen for the second team.

McNerney, a junior, rushed for 1,785 yards on 246 carries and scored 24 touchdowns in 10 games this season, helping to guide the Knights to the WPIAL semifinals.

Ejzak, a senior, caught 44 passes for 889 yards and five touchdowns in his only season of varsity action.
