WEXFORD — Mars graduate Nick Edinger, a junior cross country and track and field runner at Geneva College, has been named Presidents' Athletic Conference Male Scholar-Athlete of the Month.
Edinger is a psychology major carrying a 3.55 grade point average. This year, he has broken Geneva's indoor track school record in the 3,000-meter run and tied the mark in the 5,000 meters.
GROVE CITY — The Grove City College women's cross country team has received all-academic recognition by the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association.The Wolverines had a team grade point average of 3.49 last fall, won its 22nd straight PAC championship and placed fifth out of 56 teams at the NCAA Division III Mideast Championships.Grove City junior Ella Smith earned the USTFCCCA's individual all-academic award. She carries a 3.70 GPA as an exercise science and psychology major.
