The Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra will give a free concert at 3 p.m. Sunday

at Heinz Hall, 600 Penn Ave. For this concert, the final one of the group's 2008-09 season, the youth orchestra will present the world premiere of "Mary Lou: Four Symphonic Memories of Mary Lou Williams," commissioned by and written for PYSO by composer John Harbison. Harp soloist will be Lana Greenawald. Daniel Meyer is the music director, and Lawrence Loh is the co-principal conductor. The concert is free, but tickets are required for admission. The Pittsburgh Concert Chorale will present "The Fabulous 50s, Swingin' 60s!" Saturday and Sunday as a conclusion to the 2008-09 regular season. The concert will be performed at 8 p.m. Saturday at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church, 384 Fox Chapel Road, and at 4 p.m. Sunday at Ingomar United Methodist Church, 1501 W. Ingomar Road. The Bach Society will present "A Tribute of Song" at 8 p.m. Friday at Center Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock and at 8 p.m. Saturday at Tower Presbyterian Church in Grove City. These two concerts will be sung in memory of Frank B. Stearns, who directed the choir from 2003 to 2008. He directed the choir for the Christmas concerts in December and then lost his battle with cancer in February.

<B>Bret Michaels</B>, who was born in Butler, and his band will perform Saturday at the Belmont Arena on their Rock of Love Tour 2009. Famed as the lead singer of the 1980s rock band Poison, Michaels has most recently been seen as the star of VH1's "Rock of Love" reality television show. The concert will raise money for the Armstrong County YMCA and the Burnt Ridge Bow and Gun Club. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and seating is general admission.
