Monster Bash Summer 2009 will be dedicated to Mary Shelley's monster Frankenstein. The event is set for June 26 to 28 at the Butler Days Inn, Route 8 south of Butler.

The star guest list includes Donnie Dunagan from "Son of Frankenstein," Janet Ann Gallow from "The Ghost of Frankenstein," Gary Conway from "I Was a Teenage Frankenstein," and Ron Chaney, Lon Chaney Jr.'s grandson, who starred in the self-produced "Curse of the Wolf Man."

Also featured will be Butch Patrick, who played Eddie on "The Munsters," as well as Lou Ferrigno, who played the alter ego on "The Incredible Hulk."

The schedule includes film screenings, question-and-answer programs and autograph sessions.

Single day admission is $20; three-day admission is $45, both at the door. Children younger than age 12 are admitted free with a paying adult.

EMLENTON — The Venango Digital Film Association is presenting a run-up program to the third annual Venango Digital Film Festival.The evening's program will present locally produced films about the immediate area by area filmmakers from 7 to 9 p.m. July 8 at the Crawford Center Auditorium, 511 Hill St.The run-up program will offer attendees the opportunity to see some of the past winners of the Venango Digital Film Festival.
