The Outdoor Discovery Series sponsored by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will feature "The Magic of Kevin Cramer" at 7 p.m. today at the Carousel Shelter at Alameda Park, off New Castle Road. A Moraine State Park environmental specialist will conduct the interactive program. Admission is free. Call 724-284-5383.
Moraine State Park will be the site of "DiscoverE Day Camps," 10:30 a.m. Friday as well as July 10 and 17 for children ages 6 to 12. "K-9 SOS" is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday. Meet the team and their canine companions at the McDanel's Launch, Pavilion 7, on the North Shore. And a "Learn to Kayak" is set for 1 p.m. Sunday. Participants must be at least age 12. An adult must accompany those participants under 18. Meet at McDanel's launch on the North Shore. To register, call the 724-368-8811.
<B>Star Parties</B>, sponsored by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh, are planned for 8:55 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory in Deer Lakes Regional Park.
