"Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, Scotland," is the name of this 2005 archival inkjet print by Mary G. Padua, which is part of the "Self Portrait Exhibition" honoring the Silver Eye Center for Photography's 30th anniversary.

PITTSBURGH — Silver Eye Center for Photography presents "Self Portrait: Silver Eye at 30" on view through Sept. 12 at the gallery at 1015 E. Carson St.

The exhibition features more than 100 photographs submitted by Silver Eye members from around the world to celebrate Silver Eye's 30th anniversary.

Submitted from as far as Germany, Canada and Cyprus, artworks also include 71 pieces from regional artists.

Exhibiting photographers include Jennifer Robbins-Mullin of Zelienople and Kim M. Ross of Cranberry Township.

Some participating exhibitors have interpreted the theme literally by focusing their lens on themselves, others on reflections, environments, abstractions and personal themes. Photographic methods range from traditional silver gelatin or inkjet prints to alternative processes such as tintypes and ziatypes.

The exhibition is complemented by public programs, including:

n Photo Safaris at Heinz Field, the Allegheny River and the Allegheny Cemetery today and Saturday;

• Exhibiting Photographers Speak, 7 p.m. Aug. 13 and Sept. 3.
