SRU's Performing Arts Series begins with "Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway" at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Miller Auditorium on campus.
The opening show spotlights some of the greatest shows in Broadway musical history, such as "Chicago," "Grease," "Cabaret," "Jersey Boys," "Man of La Mancha," "Guys and Dolls," "Carousel," "Les Miserables," "Cats," "Phantom of the Opera" and "Mama Mia."
Individual tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors age 62 and older and youth age 17 and younger, and $8 for SRU students. Tickets may be ordered by calling 724-738-2018.
<B>Sergey Schepkin</B>, pianist and faculty member at CMU, will give two recital performances, one at 8 p.m. Monday and the other at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19, both in the College of Fine Arts' Kresge Recital Hall.Admission is free. Call 412-268-2900.
