Pgh. Philharmonic to perform at BC3
As part of the Performing Arts Series at Butler County Community College, the Pittsburgh Philharmonic will present "A Winter's Eve" holiday concert at 8 p.m. Friday in the Succop Theater.
The Philharmonic concert will feature Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker Suite," Vivaldi's "Winter," Waldtuefel's "Skater's Waltz" and Prokofiev's "Sleighride" and "Overture on Hebrew Themes, Op. 34."

Friday night is also Light Up Night at the college.
Sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa, Light Up Night activities will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. and include horse-drawn carriage rides around the luminary-lit campus, seasonal music, games and crafts, hot cocoa, cookies and an appearance from Santa. This event is open to the public, and Phi Theta Kappa will be collecting donations for the March of Dimes.
