"Former 'American Idol' Stars for the Holidays" featuring Chikezie, Trenyce Cobbins, Mikalah Gordon and R.J. Helton will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Miller Auditorium for the Slippery Rock University Performing Arts Series.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for those age 62 and older or 17 and younger, and $8 for SRU students. Tickets can be ordered by calling 724-738-2018.

Tickets also are available for the two remaining shows in the 2009-10 series: The River North Chicago dance company Feb. 5 and Barrage Animado, a fiddle-fest, March 20.

The University of Pittsburgh holidays tours of the Nationality Rooms in the Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., Oakland, will continue through Jan. 15 (except Dec. 24, 25 or 26 or Jan. 1).Self tours are available without reservations from 9 to 2:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sundays.From Dec. 27 to 31, the rooms will be open for guided tours beginning at 10 a.m. and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
