Jenifer King, youth minister at Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church, stands outside the church where her efforts led to recognition in this year's USA Weekend Make a Difference Day Awards. The awards recognize volunteers in USA Weekend readership areas. King was honored in Butler County for organizing teen projects with the needy and elderly. King worked with other parishes as well as the Mars Area Key Club to deliver meals and do household chores for about 35 elderly residents.

About 200 youths and adults participated in the projects including, at left, Mark Robinson and Jake Campbell, Life Teen members, Bob Ubinger, Holy Sepulcher adult volunteer, and Valencia resident Marion Pastorius.
