Stone house hosts brewingBRADY TWP — Slippery Rock University’s Stone House Center for Public Humanities will present “Homebrewed History: German Beer and the Purity Law of 1516” from 2 to 4 p.m. March 25 at the Old Stone House.The fifth installment of the series will focus on the Reinheitsgebot, the law that regulated prices for the sale of beer and specified what ingredients were permitted in brewing.Demonstrations of the brewing process and light hors d’oeuvres will also be provided.Tickets are $25 and available at 724-738-4964.
