- The local artists series will feature the Tornado Big Band at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Succop Theater. Tickets are $10.

- Students majoring in dance at La Roche College will perform with the Pittsburgh Philharmonic at the orchestra’s concert at 8 p.m. March 24 in the Succop Theater. Tickets are $15.

In addition to the concert, a lecture on what society learned from Karen Carpenter’s death at age 32 due to heart failure related to her struggles with anorexia will be presented at 5 p.m. March 30 in the University Union. The lecture is free.
