Bertha Napora Kopriva

Bertha Napora Kopriva, 92, of Tamarac, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday after a long illness.

She was born Aug. 21, 1919, in Butler, to the late John and Anna Napora.

In 1980, Bertha moved to Tamarac, Fla., with her late husband, August Kopriva.

Bertha was an avid golfer. She also enjoyed playing pinochle with her neighborhood social group. She was a member of the St. Malichy Catholic Church, Tamarac, where she was active with the women’s prayer group.

Bertha worked in the offices of several Butler businesses, including Troutmans and Heckert Engineering.

Her passion was her beloved pet dogs, Fritzie and Casey.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Krenitsky of Tamarac, Fla.; brother, Nick Napora of Pittsburgh; several nieces and nephews; and many, many good friends.

Her husband and her brothers, Steven Napora and John Napora of Butler, preceded her in death.

KOPRIVA — A Mass for Bertha Napora Kopriva, who passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, will be held in Florida.
