This entry-level kayaking program is designed to meet the needs of those more interested in an easy peaceful experience rather than a long, hard paddle. REGIONMcConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, will be the site of an "All About the Trees Hike" at 10 a.m. Saturday. Meet DCNR park naturalists at the parking lot above Breakneck & Eckert bridges. The historic mill is open through Labor Day from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
