Bogmeisters sing out for food

The Greater Cranberry Men's Chorus' “Bogmeister” Christmas Music Show is set for Monday evening at Richland Elementary School and will benefit the Lighthouse Food Pantry.

The annual “Bogmeister” Christmas Music Show presented by the Greater Cranberry Men’s Chorus is offered free to all but with one small catch: Those attending are asked to take canned goods for the Lighthouse Food Pantry.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at Richland Elementary School, 3811 Bakerstown Road, Gibsonia.

Admission is free, but canned goods are requested to help replenish the food bank at the Lighthouse Food Pantry.

Dan Borchert from the Lighthouse will be on hand to talk about how the Lighthouse helps people in need.

The hour long program will include holiday music sung in a cappella four-part close harmony in the barbershop style.

Also featured will be Christmas music sung by the Sharp Edge quartet, plus selections by two quartets from Knoch High School, the barbershop and beautyshop quartets.
