PITTSBURGHCarnegie Science Center, North Side, presents exhibits from the Hockey Hall of Fame including the Stanley Cup through Friday with hours from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Miniature Railroad and Village exhibit continues. Nationality Rooms at the University of Pittsburgh’s Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., are decorated in the styles of their holiday traditions through Jan. 14. Tour fees are $3 for adults and $1 for youths ages 8 to 18. Call 412-624-6000.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, One Schenley Park, is presenting its winter flower show through Jan. 9. Nine of Phipps indoor gardens tell the tale of holidays past, present and future with topiary snowmen, hanging baskets, evergreens lit with thousands of LED lights, three trains and close to 2,000 poinsettias. Phipps is usually open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays until 10 p.m. Candlelight Evenings continue through Friday until 10 p.m. nightly. Admission to Phipps is $12 for adults; $11 for senior citizens age 62 and older and students with valid ID; $9 for children ages 2 to 18; and free for children younger than 2. Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., hosts the exhibit“Vatican Splendors: A Journey through Faith and Art” containing original works by Michelangelo, Bernini and Giotto in the largest Vatican exhibit ever to visit North America, through Jan. 9. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for senior citizens and students with college ID, and $13 for children ages 6 to 13: children age 5 and younger are admitted free.
