PITTSBURGH — The Omnimax film “Dolphins” has returned for a limited engagement at the Carnegie Science Center on the North Side.
The giant-screen film explores the undersea world of wild dolphins.
The film continues through March 24.
The domed screen of the Rangos Omnimax Theater makes the undersea scenes particularly dramatic, and the sound system provides an immersive experience.
Viewers will meet Dr. Kathleen Dudzinski and her colleagues as they set out to learn more about how dolphins communicate and about their foraging and social behaviors.
Also showing at the Rangos Omnimax Theater are “Hubble,” a film that takes viewers to the far edges of the universe, and “Animalopolis,” a whimsical tour through the animal kingdom that is particularly appealing to children age 8 and younger.
“Hurricane on the Bayou” will be specailly shown on Monday.
Visit CarnegieScienceCenter.org for prices and show times.
