BC3 hosts drafting competition
Bobby Nittinger, a sophomore at Neshannock High School, competes in the manual drafting category April 30 at Butler County Community College. Neshannock teacher Greg Micsky brought Nittinger and 13 other students to compete in the 17th annual Drafting Competition and Technology Fair. More than 200 students from 20 high schools showed their skills in seven categories, including a new architecture category, Revit, said Mike Aikens, organizer and BC3 natural science and technology professor. Pine-Richland High School took the high school award and Erie County Technical School won the vocational-technical school award. Butler County student Shawn Samek of Knoch High School placed second in the Revit competition.
