BUTLER TWP — The Butler Notables Barbershop Chorus will present a "Musical Potpourri" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Succop Theatre at Butler County Community College.

Groups to be featured are Renaissance Rhythm Chorus and The Five of Us.

CABOT — Concordia Lutheran Ministries will host a public open house for its assisted living accommodations from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lund Care Center.There will be many assisted living units available in the care center, as current Haven I residents move into their new facility in July. ZELIENOPLE — The Zelienople Public Library will host a series of songwriting workshops in June. Local songwriter and performer Dennis McCurdy will lead the workshops from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Monday and June 16 and 30 at the library, 227 S. High St. Call 724-452-9330 to register.

MARS — Donations for the Mars Public Library's summer used book sale are being accepted. The library is accepting hardbacks, paperbacks, children's books, audiobooks, movies, and music CDs. The Butler YWCA will hold a free summer program for children who have completed first grade through fourth grade. BUTLER TWP — Butler County Special Olympics will hold its fourth annual auction and community day at noon June 22 at the Butler Township Park on South Duffy Road.The event includes a live auction, Chinese auction, food, games, a bake sale and entertainment by country singer Sarah Wilson.All proceeds benefit Butler County Special Olympics.
