Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and by appointment only Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8; children must be accompanied by an adult. Tours are led by trained docents and are available with advance notice. The museum also has a gift shop specializing in objects relating to China and Japan. Saxonburg Area Artists Co-Op, 215 Main St., Rear, Saxonburg, is open 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, 1 to 9 p.m. Fridays, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturdays and by appointment, though visitors should call 412-260-5779 or 412-849-4648 to confirm.

<B>Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts</B>, 124 E. Leasure Ave., New Castle, shows “Treasures from the Vaults,” a collection of rarely seen works from the Butler Institute of American Art in Ohio, through Feb. 25. Admission is free.
