The Blazing Star Choral Society will begin rehearsals Tuesday for its May 22 concert. The choral group is seeking volunteer singers for all voice parts.

The society has performed music from Bach to the Beatles in concerts around Western Pennsylvania and in major choral works as guests with the American Wind Ensemble and Pittsburgh Philharmonic.

Donald Rasely is the artistic director and conductor.
