JACKSON TWP — The Pittsburgh International Children’s Theater offers shows in Pittsburgh and on all sides of the city, but Butler County has its own site for the family shows.

Theatreworks USA presents the Pittsburgh premiere of “Skippyjon Jones” Nov. 13 to 20 at area six locations. The show will go on at 2 p.m. Nov. 20

at Seneca Valley Senior High School.Based on the children’s picture book by Judith Byron Schachner, Theatreworks USA’s “Skippyjon Jones” is a new musical about a Siamese kitten that refuses to be an ordinary cat. The 60-minute play is recommended for children ages 3 to 10.Tickets are $9.50 in advance and available by calling 412-456-6666 or online at www.trustarts.org/kids.
