WORTH TWP — The Western Pennsylvania Rhythm Society will host a free, all-ages drum circle at 3 p.m. Sunday near the bicycle rental building at Moraine State Park.

A few drums will be available, but participants are encouraged to take a drum or rhythm instrument if they have one.

JEFFERSON TWP— Summit Presbyterian Church will hold its annual 5K walk and race and Octoberfest Oct. 4 at the Christian Community Outreach Building, 650 Saxonburg Road.Registration for the 5K will be at 7:30 a.m. and the race will begin at 8 a.m.The Octoberfest will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include crafts, vendors, a bake sale, food, a Chinese auction and games for children. Children will also make their own ice cream and scarecrows.
