SLIPPERY ROCK — Neil Berg’s “Broadway Holiday” comes to Slippery Rock University for a one-night performance Dec. 2 as part of the university’s performing arts series.

The 7:30 p.m. show is in Miller Auditorium.

Singers scheduled to appear are Lawrence Clayton, Rita Harvey, Grant Norman, Andrea Rivette and Danny Zolli, all veteran Broadway performers. Eugene Gwozdz will be the pianist and musical director.

Among the holiday selections are “We Need a Little Christmas” from the musical “Mame,” “Christmas Song,” “My Simple Christmas Wish,” “Count Your Blessings” from the musical “White Christmas,” “Please Come Home For Christmas,” “O Holy Night” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”

Other Broadway selections on the program are “Heaven on Their Minds” from “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Think of Me” from “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Sherry” from “Jersey Boys,” and a Judy Garland medley featuring “The Trolley Song” from “Meet Me in St. Louis” and “Get Happy”/“Happy Days Are Here Again.”

Tickets are $22 for adults; $20 for senior citizens and youths younger than 18; and $8 for SRU students. Reserve tickets by calling 724-738-2018.
